Reflection Questions:
1. Considering the development opportunities available to you this year, how have you applied what you learned?

The things that I applied this year were that now I know how to use Microsoft Word and it became easier to me because now I can do all my projects and this helps me to give better presentations on my projects. The things that I learn this year I show them by helping other people and by doing a great job in my homework. This shows how did I applied what did I have learned.
2. What strengths do you possess that you can use at a higher level next year?
That I don’t get shy at all when I have to present something like projects or speak in front of people. I speak louder and clearly so people can hear me and understand what did I’m talking about and actually by having a good posture. I think this are a very good strengths that I can use for next year that I posses.

3. What obstacles must you work through so you can meet all your goals for this year?

The obstacles that I have were that sometimes I couldn’t pass some test but I try to do the best I can by staying after school or in lunch to do extra work and finish the things that I was missing. For me it was really hard because my mom couldn’t pick me up from school so my friend had taken me to my house. Actually I came to Saturday school to learn more and pass the Taks Test which I had to work harder because it was my first time taking it.

4. Discuss what you have learned during the class and how it will assist you in achieving further academic and work related goals.
I have been learned a lot of stuff some of them were how to use PowerPoint, Microsoft Word, and actually how to give your resume paper when you are looking for a job. For me this was so important because I didn’t even know how to make one and what to put on it, like what kind of information and not try to put too much information and not too little.

5. If you could do any assignment over this year, which one would it be and why? Any regrets?
I would like to do the “All ABOUT ME” because for me it was so fun by writing about things that I like to do and actually by putting all the members of my family and share with other people. For me it was so interesting because everyone likes to do different things. There’s sometimes that people likes tom do the same things as others. I like to share my thoughts and things that sometimes are so embarrassing because it’s fun.

The 3 words that I will describe this class are

7. How did your computer skills grow or improve over the course of the year?

The computer skills had grow and improve over the course of this year because now I know how to use the things I already explain you. Before knowing how to use the computer I didn’t even know how to type fast and how to do the animation project which it was really fun even if I got lost on it the whole time. This year was really fun and I have been learning a lot and actually by having fun with my friends.

8. What were your greatest challenges or lessons learned?
When we were doing the “MY PAGE” which it was really fun but complicated. I got lost most of the time but I try to do the steps correctly. The whole year I start having challenges by using the computer but now I don’t.

I want the audience to know how to prevent this disease because there are some people that don’t care about skin cancer and they don’t know the consequences it may bring. This disease is really important actually if you don’t take care of it. This disease is caused of the sun exposure, it’s important for people to know this since this is done regularly. USE SUNSCREEN TO PROTECT YOUR SKIN=).

I have learn many things about my topic, there are three different types of skin cancer which it can give you spots that bleeds or change its color.Skin cancer is because you don't protect your skin from the sun or you don't use sunscreen. Sunscreen helps you to prevent sunburns. Make sure you check the expiration dates on the sunscreen because it can expire.

Skin Cancer

I choose this topic because for me is really important, people can know about other diseases they can get like skin cancer wich is sores in your skin.There are three  tipes of skin cancer the first one is: Basal Cell Carcinoma This type of skin cancer only grow in the basal cell layer and spreads to other parts of the body, which may turn more destructive and disfiguring. Squamous Cell Carcinoma  this disease Can be found in the squamous cells of the body ,this cancer on the skin starts out as a rough, dry scaly spot that won't heal.Melanoma this cause the pigment in the skin, the cells can growth change shape and color.
 
   The Symptoms of this disease are a mole that  changes color or a scaly spot that bleeds.Basal cell carcinoma might show a raised, smooth, pearly bump on the sun-exposed skin of the head, neck or shoulders. Squamous cell carcinoma will look red and show a thickened patch on sun-exposed skin. Melanomas are generally brown to black looking lesions.
   Causes of this disease is sun exposure without  sunscreen this is one of the greatest  risk for skin cancer.Anyone who has been sunburned is at increased risk of skin cancer particularly those with fair skin or those who have ever blistered from a sunburn. You need to be careful  because this is a serious disease use sunscreen when you are going anywhere because I'm pretty sure you don't want your skin look like this=(
